It was a hard fought match, but PCM’s volleyball team came up just short in the end, losing in five sets to Greene County last night, 16 – 25, 25 – 15, 18 – 25, 27 – 25 and losing game five 12 – 15. Lexi Kain had 12 kills and Abbi Gilson had nine, while Kenzie Clarke came up with 16 digs. Head coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that she has noticed her girls have improved every game and are starting to get it. She adds that she’s found a line-up to her liking and she hopes the girls can work together as they spend more time with each other on the court. PCM volleyball falls to 1 – 7 overall and 0 – 3 in the Heart of Iowa Conference. The Mustangs will host C-M-B for another conference contest on Tuesday.
