The PCM Mustangs easily defeated the I-35 Roadrunners 35-6 in Truro yesterday. Zach Uhlenhopp fielded a punt and sprinted 45 yards down the right sideline for a touchdown return in the first half. Sophomore quarterback Logan Gilman also found Uhlenhopp for a 16-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Blake McWilliams had 18 carries for 157 yards that was highlighted by an 81-yard touchdown. McWilliams rested for most of the fourth quarter, which allowed fullback Ronnie Marshall and backup tailback Jade Coleman to get additional touches. PCM is now 3-2 overall and 2-0 in Class 2A District 6. Next week is homecoming with the undefeated Albia Blue Demons coming to Monroe.
