Where can you have fun with your family, while raising money, and learning about the Dutch? The Pella Historical Society and Museum’s Fall Festival. This year’s event began last night, and if inclement weather returns, the staff is prepared to keep you dry, and entertained with hot cider and chocolate inside the Vermeer Windmill. The theme is “Appel Pluk” which is Dutch for apple harvest, and poffertjes, caramel apples, pies and cider will be available for sale. Executive Director Kathy Miller, says music, games, demonstrations, and tours will also be available today from 10am to 4pm, and tomorrow from 10am to 2pm.
