The Lady and Little Dutch looked very strong at the Grinnell cross country meet last night, sweeping every race including the JV and middle school contests. On the boys’ side, Pella won with 44 points, beating second place Williamsburg by 31. Jordan Pingel came in third to lead Pella with a time of 17:04 and Levi Heschke was seventh at 17:32. On the girls’ side, Pella beat host Grinnell by a whopping 45 points with a winning total of 38. Kelcey Blommers was third fastest at 15:32 and Tess Roorda was right behind her in fourth at 15:45. Pella’s cross country teams next head to Ballard on Monday for a varsity meet.
