Pleasantville Sweeps, Mustangs Drop in Five

Pleasantville and PCM had two different outcomes in their conference games on Tuesday night. Pleasantville swept Central Decatur, 25 – 19, 25 – 22 and 25 – 21. The Trojans improve to 4 – 3 in the Pride of Iowa Conference and 10 – 7 overall on the season. PCM, however, was up two sets to one, but fell to C-M-B, winning game one 25 – 23, losing game two 22 – 25, prevailing in the third 25 – 21, but dropped the next two 18 – 25 and 11 – 15. Abbi Gilson led the team in kills with 14, Lexi Kain had nine; and Ashlee Kain was 12-for-12 in serves with one ace. The Mustangs are 1 – 8 overall with an 0 – 4 mark in the Heart of Iowa Conference. PCM is at Nevada this Saturday, and Pleasantville is off until Tuesday to host I-35.
