Two opposite days were had on the volleyball courts last night for Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas. The Sabers fell in five sets to Moravia to begin their season, 13 – 25, 25 – 20, 22 – 25, 25 – 23 and 14 – 16. Melcher-Dallas had a quicker night, sweeping Seymour in three, 25 – 17, 25 – 11, and 25 – 15. The Saints tallied 16 aces on the night, led by Jazmine Lutz and MacKenzie Suntken who each had five. Twin Cedars begins the season 0 – 1, the Saints with the win are 2 – 0; the Sabers are back at it this Monday at Eddyville-Blakesburg and the Saints host Moravia this Thursday.
