Pleasantville’s volleyball team looked strong, but fell in five sets to Martensdale – St. Mary’s last night, 25 – 11, 25 – 20, 28 – 30, 19 – 25 and 10 – 25. Coach Amy Updegraff tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that her team just ran out of gas after game three. Augusta Sinclair had more than 30 kills unofficially and Kennedy Core had 15. The Trojans drop to 4 – 4 on the year and are 1 – 1 in the Pride of Iowa Conference. They are back in action tomorrow at home against Nodaway Valley.
