Are you a bird watcher? If so, you’ll have an opportunity to see many species during a bird banding event with area birdwatcher and licensed bird bander Nelson Hoskins. Ranger Tracy Spry of the Corps of Engineer explains that once Hoskins nets the birds, he will place a small band with a unique number on the their leg, to help with future research regarding the tracking and behaviors of the birds. The event is tomorrow from 7 am to 10 am, and the group will meet at the Red Rock Visitor Center. The event is free and no registration is needed.
