The Marion County Board of Supervisors met yesterday. All items on the agenda were approved. Among items discussed were a special event application by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, for Living Windows on November 21. The Supervisors also discussed vacating roads, the cancellation of a road seal coat contract, and 28E agreements for a Tri-County Behavioral Health Region between Marion, Mahaska and Poweshiek Counties. Zoning changes, a Comprehensive Plan update, and a site plan for an electrical substation for Pella Rural Electric Co-op in rural Knoxville were also discussed.
