Without having to lift a finger, the Central College men’s cross country team went from 11th to tenth in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III poll. The increase moves the Dutch into the top ten for the first time since their number seven ranking in the preseason poll in late August. Other Iowa Conference schools didn’t fair too well; Wartburg dropped a spot to 21st, Loras fell two spots to 27th and Luther slipped one to number 34. Central gets back to action this Saturday at the Jim Drews Invitational in West Salem, Wisconsin.
