Pella Regional recently named Harold and Florence Meinders there 2013 Hospice Volunteers of the Year. The Meinders were recognized at a luncheon on September 13 in Altoona hosted by the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Iowa. Beth Loux, volunteer coordinator in Hospice at Pella Regional Health Center, says that Hospice of Pella is blessed to have Harold and Florence as faithful volunteers. Loux adds that Harold and Florence make a wonderful husband-wife team. Florence also serves as a Comfort House volunteer.
