The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at 1131 McKimber Street in rural Knoxville. Knoxville Police Department K-9 and Jasper County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit were on scene as well. Seven individuals were arrested on a multitude of drug charges, including, but not limited to, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and prohibited acts. The individuals involved were Crystal L. Sanderson, age 45; Marton Joseph Wright, age 32; Brandon Lee Galvin, age 21; Migdalia Harrison, age 51; David Eugene Harrison, age 44; Benjamin Derek Wright, age 23, and Garth Colon, age 25; all of Knoxville. All seven were booked into the Marion County Jail. As with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
