Knocking off Knoxville on Monday, the Pella Christian volleyball team could finish with a better than .500 record in the Little Hawkeye Conference with a win over Grinnell tomorrow. The Eagles have tomorrow’s match with the Tigers and a tournament in Knoxville left on their schedule before they open up regional tournament play on Tuesday at home against Cardinal of Eldon. Pella Christian and Grinnell saw one another in the North Mahaska tournament in late September, with the Eagles coming away with a two game sweep, 21 – 7 and 21 – 18. Head coach Cindy Nikkel says there were certain factors that contributed to that win almost a month ago, and her girls will need to duplicate that effort tomorrow night. Pella Christian is 14 – 13 on the year and that match tomorrow is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m.
