Class 4A volleyball teams get their postseasons started tonight with first round action. For Knoxville, the Panthers must hit the road and take the long way to a state tournament berth. Knoxville starts by traveling to Carlisle, a team they have split two Saturday tournament matches with this season. The Panthers have been an improved team this season sporting a 19-20 record and winning close matches. They have also won the two matches that have been stretched to five sets this season, and senior Erica Fee thinks the team has what it takes to pull together and win. Carlisle, meanwhile, is 15-14 and has not been forced into a five set match in 2013. The Wildcats finished in a tie for fifth place in the Raccoon River Conference. First serve tonight is scheduled for seven.
