The Knoxville Football Squad will travel to Norwalk tonight still in search of its first win of the season. The Panthers are coming off a 28-21 loss to Chariton last week while unveiling a new offense that uses option and runs primarily out of the I-Formation and a new three/four defense. Coach Troy Rider says the first week of the new sets went well and the guys have been improving all week. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that with an oh-and-seven record, the players are still upbeat and practices have been very good this week. The Panthers will have the task of stopping Norwalk Freshman Quarterback Brady Brandsfield, who Rider says has very few deficiencies. He adds that hopefully his team can use their speed to get to the outside as Norwalk has given up over 1,600 yards on the ground this season. You can hear the call on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and Mike Cunningham at seven, following the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show.
