The Knoxville Football Squad will see if win number one on the season resides in Carlisle tonight. The Panthers in three of their five loses have been close and had chances to win in the late stages, only to come up short for various reasons. Tonight the Panthers play Carlisle who employs an option style attack. When defending the option, teams must play assignment football. Panthers Coach Troy Rider says the Wildcats play the option very well, so his team will have to focus on every play. Carlisle comes in at 1-4 on the season and have been gashed on the ground in four of those games, the one exception being the win over Winterset. Also, due to the threat of severe weather in the area tonight, the kick off time could change. Carlisle officials are deciding later this morning if moving the start time earlier is warranted. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for any details when they become official. As of now, the game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30, and AM 1320 KNIA will be there live with the pregame show at seven following the Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show.
