With the government shutdown over, several campers are flocking to Howell Station at Lake Red Rock for the final two weekends of the season. Josh Conrad, Assistant Operations Manager at the lake says that over 125 reservations had to be cancelled due to the 16 day closure of the federal land. He adds that he started receiving calls at 6am Thursday for reservation requests, and two campers met him at the gate when they reopened Howell Station later that morning.
