Late Model Auction in Knoxville a Success
Posted By Sports On October 3, 2013 @ 6:24 am In Today’s Local News | Comments Disabled
“Successful” was the word that Bob Baker from the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville used to describe this past weekend’s events during the Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals. The highlight of the three-day event was the Museum’s auction on Saturday afternoon which featured Late Model memorabilia and pieces and parts that were autographed by the drivers and race teams. Baker says that the rain on Saturday actually helped the auction be as successful as it was. All of the proceeds from the auction went to benefit both the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum and the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame and Museum in Walton, Kentucky.
