Fairfield enters Pella High Stadium tonight, as both schools begin their Class 3A postseason football journeys. The Trojans have been utilizing a freshman quarterback all season long who is a dual-threat to run and pass the ball. Cameron Baumann has completed nearly 59% of his passes for over a thousand yards and 11 touchdowns, while rushing for 11 more and gaining almost 300 yards on the ground. Coach Jay McKinstrey says he hopes to disrupt any rhythm the freshman gets into with their stone-cold defense. The Little Dutch counter with their own dangerous weapon, Noah Clayberg at quarterback. Though he is more likely to run the ball than pass, Clayberg does have an arm and will use it. He has rushed for 14 touchdowns while gaining over 900 yards, but has also thrown for over 500 on 39 completions and four touchdowns.
