Twin Cedars clinched a postseason spot and Melcher-Dallas won by the slimmest of margins in area Eight-Man football action yesterday. The Sabers won 62 – 6 over Moravia and the Saints were able to defeat non-district opponent Lenox 34 – 33. With the win, Twin Cedars improves to 8 – 1 overall and 5 – 1 in the district, while the Saints are now 5 – 3 on the year. The Sabers play Tri-County, Thornburg in week nine; a win by Twin Cedars would clinch a first round home game in the playoffs; Melcher-Dallas plays Meskwaki Settlement next week, and if they win, they would be in the postseason.
