It’s not being muttered out loud, but if Pleasantville’s football team wants to be one of the four teams out of Class A District 6 to play further into November, their game tonight at Lynnville-Sully is a “must-win.” The Trojans simply will have to stop the run tonight; Caden Doll and Bailee Samson are their two returning running backs who have combined for nearly 700 yards and have been the majority of the offense for the Hawks. Coach Gabe Bakker says his Trojans will need to stop the Hawks’ run by playing team defense. Pleasantville’s road game can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Ed Bull calling the action. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at seven.
