Despite not qualifying anyone for the state meet yesterday in Ottumwa, both Pleasantville and Twin Cedars still set some personal bests in the Class 1A State Qualifying Meet. Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that they didn’t have anyone qualify but nearly all of his runners set a personal best and everyone showed marked improvement from the beginning of the season. For Twin Cedars, Coach Alan Stewart said their best runner was Brittney Roby, who finished 47th at a time of 18:12. Hunter Frost was the fastest Saber boy at 21:22.
