Looking for their first playoff victory in over ten years, Twin Cedars’ football team stays in Bussey to welcome Lamoni in the first round of the postseason in Eight-Man competition. The Sabers’ only loss this year came to H-L-V, while Lamoni has lost to just Adair-Casey and to Murray. Brent Parker leads the Sabers’ attack; the quarterback has thrown for nearly 2,500 yards while completing almost 60% of his passes and throwing for 45 touchdowns. Parker has also rushed for almost 500 yards while scoring eight touchdowns on the ground. Sabers’ coach, Aaron Allspach says tonight’s game will come down to special teams, defense, and not giving the ball away. You can hear tonight’s game live on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Derek Cardwell with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. with kick-off at seven.
