After dismantling Tri-County last Tuesday, Twin Cedars’ volleyball team has a chance to make it to the semifinals if they can get by North Mahaska this evening. The Sabers get to play on their home court for the second straight match, while North Mahaska will be playing their second straight road game after beating Melcher-Dallas in their first round game. Coach Mike Strasko says winning the first game of the match will be key if his team wants to advance to the semis on Friday. Strasko added that both teams appear to be mirror images of one-another stat-wise. Tonight’s match between the Sabers and Warhawks is scheduled to start at seven.
