Junior libero for the Central volleyball team, Dzenita Bahtic made it to the All-Iowa Conference squad for her efforts in 2013. Bahtic was league-leader in digs, averaging over five per set. She also reached the 30-dig mark four times during the season, with her high of 42 coming against William Penn in late October. The junior is eighth on Central’s all-time list for digs in a season and digs per game in a single season. Bahtic also received defensive player of the week honors in late October in the Augustana tournament. Central’s volleyball team went 13 – 19 overall and finished seventh in the Iowa Conference.
