Tatum Starcevich completed her first season as head coach of the Melcher-Dallas volleyball team and was impressed by the level of play the Bluegrass Conference showed throughout the year. Two schools, Grandview Park Baptist and Murray, were each ranked in the top ten for a majority of the season. Coach Starcevich says it was a great test for her Saints to face some high caliber teams in a loaded conference. Starcevich adds that she thought her girls played well within the conference, noting there was one match, the loss to Twin Cedars, that she felt they should have won. She says that the loss and the competition helped her girls train and work that much harder at getting better over the course of the season.
