The Central men’s cross country team re-wrote several school records all year long, and they saved the best for last by punctuating their season with a sixth place overall finish at the NCAA Division III championships on Saturday. Junior Eli Horton led for some of the race and eventually finished fourth to lead the Dutch. St. Olaf, Minnesota placed first overall in the team standings. Austin O’Brien was 11th overall individually; he and Horton earned All-American honors for their efforts.
