Turnovers plagued the Melcher-Dallas girls’ basketball team last year, and tonight they get a fresh start when their new season begins on the road against Wayne. These two schools met to begin the season last year, and it was the Falcons that ran away with a 58 – 19 victory, in a game that saw several turnovers by the Saints. They did clean things up by the end of the season, but Coach Jon Suntken says he’d like to see his team have a cleaner start to the year. Wayne went 12 – 11 last year, and lost just one senior to graduation. Tonight’s game has a 7:45 p.m. scheduled tip-off.
