Senator Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids, a prominent voice in the state legislature on climate change issues, will address Central College on climate change today. Hogg is currently serving his second term as state representative from House District 38. He was first elected in 2002 and then reelected in 2004. Hogg has served on the education, public safety, environment and ways and means committees as well as the economic development budget subcommittee. In 2005, he was selected as the Legislator of the Year by the Older Iowans Legislature. Hogg is currently touring Iowa, talking about the impacts and issues that climate change brings to our state, and what climate change means for America in the 21st century. Hogg will speak at 7 pm in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
