Drought Monitor 11-14

According to the latest Drought Monitor released yesterday, conditions continue to improve around the state. Marion, Mahaska, and Jasper counties all fall into the severe drought category with approximately 22% of the state. Roughly 33% of the state is suffering moderate drought conditions, while 25% is abnormally dry. The biggest change is that almost 21% of the state is no longer suffering any drought conditions, and no area is remaining in the extreme classification.
