After losing several talented seniors last year, the Pella Christian football team was looking to their younger talent to step up and contribute. One of those players that played a significant role in the Eagles’ 4 – 6 season was Carson Dugger. The junior was listed as a wide receiver in the programs, but Coach Rich Kacmarynski had Dugger wear several different “hats” this season. Dugger was the leading receiver on the team; catching 15 passes for 223 yards. He also rushed for 155 more, and was the main punt returner on the team, with 96 return yards for the year and one brought back for a touchdown against Colfax-Mingo.
