With their biggest game of the season a little over 24 hours away, the Pella High football team, roughly 56 hours fresh off their 14 – 0 win over Williamsburg on Monday, are getting ready for Washington. For the most part, the Little Dutch have avoided the injury bug; with only Nathan Clayberg fighting through a nagging foot injury and Quinton Murphy also dealing with some issues as well. Coach Jay McKinstrey says the three-day rest will be used exactly for that: rest, getting healthy, and getting prepared. The Little Dutch head coach also referred back to their confrontation with the Washington Demons, saying they are a great team, and are loaded with talent and have gotten better as the season has went on. Tomorrow night’s game kicks off at 7:00 p.m., and can be heard on 92.1 KRLS.
