Having already won a share of the Little Hawkeye Conference championship, the Pella High volleyball team would like to add a “State Qualifiers” banner to their illustrious gym with a win over Indianola in Carlisle tonight. Pella swept Knoxville last Thursday to win a spot in the regional finals, while the Indians had no problem with Norwalk in their semifinal match. The two teams did face one another in mid-September in tournament action, with Indianola winning in straight sets, 21 – 11 and 21 – 14. Coach Catie Brand says that playing the Panthers last round was ideal to help them get ready for tonight’s big contest.
