Last night Pella and Twin Cedars football teams attempted to move one step closer to a state championship. Twin Cedars second round game took them west to perennial powerhouse Adair-Casey. The Sabres unfortunately fell 73-38, ending their season at 10-2. Pella continued to benefit from their undefeated regular season and district title as they hosted the Williamsburg Raiders. The game that featured two talented running games was shut down by dueling defenses in the first half, before Pella scored two second half touchdowns to win 14-0. The victory moves the Little Dutch to 11-0, and they will host the Washington Demons Friday night in Pella.
