The Melcher-Dallas girls’ basketball team lost a talented senior last year in Lexi Crozier, but they bring back some equally-as-talented ladies for the 2013-14 season which begins for the Saints this Tuesday. Four seniors are on this year’s squad for Coach Jon Suntken, and they bring a lot of speed, which Suntken says he hopes to use to their advantage. With the influx of four new schools into the Bluegrass Conference, Coach Suntken tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his team will play every team at least once, and see some schools, such as Twin Cedars, twice. The Saints begin their campaign this Tuesday on the road against Wayne.
