The running and passing games will be on display tonight when Twin Cedars heads to Adair-Casey in the second round of the Eight Man football district playoffs. It’ll mainly be the passing game for the Sabers with Brent Parker under center for Twin Cedars; the senior has thrown for 50 touchdowns and nearly 2,700 yards. To compliment his passing game, Parker has several talented receivers, including Garret Pettyjohn, Coy Moore and Otis Roby, who have caught a combined 39 touchdowns among the trio. Twin Cedars, though, must figure out a way to stop Clayton Plowman on the ground and Traeton Jensen through the air. That tandem has combined for 64% of the team’s total yards. You can hear tonight’s match-up live on AM 1320 KNIA and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Derek Cardwell and Brian VanderSluis providing the play-by-play. Pregame starts after the KNIA/KRLS Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at 6:30 p.m.
