As with any sport, a head coach wants to see his team and athletes perform better at the end of the season than they did at the beginning. For Coach Joe Burch of the Pella High wrestling team, there are lessons his younger grapplers can only learn in dual meet and tournament action. For instance, Burch says he would like to see his wrestlers be more conscious of their surroundings while in the middle of a match. The Little Dutch will next wrestle in a conference dual meet on Thursday, January 9 at Norwalk.
