Following a two-game split in Sioux Center this past weekend, the Central men’s basketball team is back in action this evening to continue their eight-game road trip. Tonight, the Dutch head to Oskaloosa to play William Penn. Central comes in 3 – 2 and are fresh off a 98 – 76 defeat at the hands of Dordt on Saturday. Poor first half shooting is what did the Dutch in that contest; as Dordt raced out to a 20-point halftime lead that Central couldn’t recover from. The Statesmen have already played 12 games this year, and have won their last eight straight after starting the year 0 – 4. William Penn scores at will; they haven’t scored under 80 points all season and have eclipsed the century mark four times.
