The Pella Christian’ boys’ basketball team gets down to business tonight when they host West Marshall to begin their season. The Eagles were able to dispense of the Trojans in last year’s season opener, 68 – 53, but after that, Coach Larry Hessing says that West Marshall had a pretty good finish to their year. Of course, the Eagles were no slouches themselves, losing just one game in the Little Hawkeye Conference en route to their berth in the Class 2A state tournament. The JV teams will play first tonight, starting at 6:00 p.m., with tip-off of the varsity contest slated for 7:30.
