While the Pella Christian girls’ basketball team prepares for their trip to the western side of the state this weekend, the Eagles’ boys will play one last home game tonight before they join them. Albia comes to town to face the Eagles, and for the Blue Demons so far this year, they have faced a wide variety of opponents. They have defeated Knoxville, lost a close game with Fairfield, and barely beat Twin Cedars on Saturday. Coach Larry Hessing says his team is slowly improving, and he loves seeing how the players grow from the beginning of the season to the end. The Eagles’ contest with the Blue Demons can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com with Justin Webster and Wynne Veenstra on the call. Pregame starts at 7:15 p.m. with tip-off at 7:30. There will be a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS immediately following Pella High’s doubleheader.
