Pella Christian’s boys’ basketball team has had an up and down start to their season. They have wins over West Marshall, Washington and Newton, but have dropped games to Dallas Center-Grimes, PCM and, most recently, Albia this past Tuesday. The offense has been inconsistent in the losses, averaging just under 47 points per game. Coach Larry Hessing says there are several things his team will need to improve on in the coming weeks. He says defensively the Eagles need to work on getting some pressure on ball handlers and on the shooters. The Eagles make the long road trip to Dordt College this Saturday for a doubleheader with Unity Christian.
