A very sloppy game did not go the way of the Pella Christian girls’ basketball team last night, as they fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, 51 – 41. After committing four turnovers in the first quarter, the Eagles ended up with 34 for the game, while the Rockets had 32 of their own. Lauren Jungling had 12 points to lead all Pella Christian scorers, and Tessa Howerzyl had ten points with Autumn Vos collecting seven rebounds. The Eagles are 2 – 1 on the season and they will join the boys for a doubleheader against Dallas Center-Grimes on Friday.
