After two tough losses to PCM on Monday, the Pella Christian ball clubs each found a win over lowly Oskaloosa last night. The girls won 42 – 28; Brooke Mitrisin hit three shots from outside en route to leading the team with 13 points, Tessa Howerzyl had 11 of her own, while Hannah Beltman pulled down eight boards and scored eight points. Sebastian Baugh’s 20 points off the bench helped his Eagles wallop the Indians 68 – 47. Coltin Collins also had 14 of his own to go along with seven rebounds. Pella Christian’s girls are now 4 – 3 on the year while the boys improve to 3 – 2. Both squads get back to action this Friday night with another conference doubleheader against Newton.
