Knoxville’s boys’ and girls’ bowling teams knocked down Norwalk in a dual meet this past Saturday. The girls won by nearly 250 pins over the Warriors, while the boys’ match was a little closer, with the Panthers edging their opponents by a little over 100. Sam Piagentini had the best two-game total for the boys with a 423, and Mackenzie McCarty had the best score overall for the Panthers with a 436 series. Pella Christian’s boys dropped by a few pins from last week’s effort and finished third to Newton and Oskaloosa at Mahaska Bowl. Jordan Pleima had a two-game high for the Eagles of 306. Both teams are off for a few weeks until after the Christmas break.
