There were several positives that Pella High head girls’ basketball coach Jerod Garland took away from his team’s 91 – 21 win over Des Moines North this past Monday. One thing he says that they need to work on is their talking with one another on the court. Coach Garland says that his team will need to get better in all departments, not just communication, because of the level of competition in the conference this year. Garland adds his team will be working on ball movement and trying to penetrate zone defenses a little better with their dribble-drive before their game with Carlisle for Tuesday night.
