PCM’s basketball teams come home tonight for a girls and boys doubleheader against Heart of Iowa Conference opponent, Gilbert. The Mustangs’ girls are off to a rough start after being ranked 14th to begin the season, losing to both Knoxville and Nevada prior to the Thanksgiving break. PCM’s boys are looking to begin another impressive season tonight; they went 21 – 2 last year, and could very well have made the state tournament in Class 2A, but were defeated by Pella Christian in the district finals. Coach Fred Lorenson is going for his 500th win of his career tonight. Tip-off of the girls’ game is scheduled for 6:00.
