It was a tough night for Pleasantville’s basketball teams yesterday. Chariton’s girls used a 20 – 0 second quarter run to topple the Trojans, 55 – 38. Kennedy Core led all Pleasantville scorers with 18 points and Trisha Kunze added nine. On the boys’ side of things, the Trojans fell to the Chargers, 66 – 56. The girls fall to 1 – 2 overall while the boys are 1 – 1. They don’t have much time to dwell on their losses; both squads are back in action tonight against Central Decatur.
