With the first third of the season rapidly approaching an end, Pleasantville and Martensdale – St. Mary’s clash in a Pride of Iowa Conference doubleheader this evening. The Trojans split with Wayne this past Tuesday, while the Blue Devils swept Southeast Warren. The Blue Devils’ girls got off to an inconsistent start to the season, but have since righted the ship and are 2 – 3, while the Trojans’ ladies have been showing big improvements with each game. Pleasantville’s boys are playing their second road game of the year and are looking for their fourth win of the young season. Tonight’s doubleheader can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Ed Bull voicing over the action. Pregame starts at 6:00 p.m. and the girls will tip off at 6:15.
