Shortly after 1:30 yesterday afternoon, just over 3000 Knoxville and Marion County residents were without power. According to MidAmerican Energy, there was a problem at the transfer station in Knoxville, at North Lincoln and Larson Streets. Crews were dispatched to the transfer station at about 2, and power was fully restored by about 3:00. No word yet on what caused the outage; KNIA KRLS News will bring you more information as it becomes available.
