It was a story of two different games in Bussey on the hardwood last night. Twin Cedars’ girls won their game over Wayne by nine. Freshman Allie Utterback had a double-double, scoring ten points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Brittney Roby had 16 points as well for the Sabers as they move to 1 – 0 to begin their season. The boys made several mistakes, losing to the Falcons 63 – 55. Coach Alan Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his guys just didn’t play very well. Otis Roby scored 15, Coy Moore added 14 and Hunter Embray tallied 12 for Twin Cedars, who are 0 – 1 at the moment. Each team is back at home this Friday for another doubleheader against Lamoni.
